During his Tuesday night appearance, Trump said, “There’s a lot of talk about that,” when asked about compensating the rioters. “A lot of the people that are in government now talk about it because a lot of the people in government really like that group of people.”

Let that sit for a second. He’s openly acknowledging that some folks in power are riding with the people who violently tried to overturn the 2020 election. Not to mention, they injured over a hundred law enforcement officers, vandalized federal property, and caused panic on a historic level.
