Earlier this month, a clip of Saweetie and Usher went viral as the legendary singer serenaded the rapper during his Vegas show.
The clip posted online showed the 44-year-old seductively singing his hit song “There Goes My Baby” to the “ICY GRL” artist. Now, before that Usher did the same thing to Keke Palmer, and let’s just say she participated in all the fun. However, Saweetie had a different reaction. She stood in one spot, swinging her head back and forth, looking cute. Usher then tried to let Saweetie sing on the mic but when she didn’t he asked, “Saweetie are you too cool to sing?” Saweetie eventually shook her head letting him know she would participate, but only did the ‘baby’ portion of the verse.
While appearing on @power_106 , she explained what was exactly going through her mind. Saweetie said, “Since I been in the studio, I don’t be online. So I didn’t even know he did stuff like that. So my honest response is I was caught off guard.” Saweetie then went on to reveal her favorite Usher song…

Aside from his great performances, Usher’s concert has made a lot of headlines, specifically for the Keke Palmer moment.
As we previously reported, following the July 5 show, her boyfriend Darius Jackson decided to share his opinion on the family matriarch’s sexy outfit. He tweeted, “It’s the outfit tho.. You a mom,” he wrote. In a follow-up post he said, “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.” He has since deleted his profile and scrubbed photos of him and Palmer from Instagram.
Meanwhile, Keke hasn’t directly addressed the situation. However, she continued showing off her hot outfit that night. “I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late,” she captioned a series of snaps from the night. “I am telling y’all right now, if you haven’t seen @usher YOU MUST GO!! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!! “Giving theater, Atlanta downnn, tips and tricks and just absolutely iconic. I was truly inspired as a performer. I whooped some ass in spades too! Where is that pic of us all together with the King himself?? @noraradd,” she wrote.
Usher, whose concert Palmer attended that night, wrote, “The Big Boss!! Thank U for coming 🙏🏾.”
