Saweetie’s new project was slated for release this week. However, she revealed that there is a bit of a delay. She explained to Tigger: “Yes, PBM was supposed to come out this month, but I was really living with it,” she said before adding,

“And one of my goals is for people to really feel something with every song, so I had to go back and reconstruct some songs. Just know that I’m a perfectionist and it’s on the way.”

Despite that, she says she’s happy to be part of the BET Awards this year. “I’m so excited and hella grateful, so I’m just happy to be here,” Saweetie said in a virtual interview.

Along with Saweetie, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Latto are all up to snag an award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist. Socialites, who are you rooting for? Let us know in the comment box below!
