Santa Claus & Wife Test Positive For COVID-19 After Taking Photos With 50 Children In Georgia

Two people portraying Santa Claus and his wife have tested positive for COVID-19 after taking photos with at least 50 children in Georgia. The mid-pandemic holiday event apparently was a part of a local holiday parade, that included a tree lighting ceremony and photo session with dozens of children.

Following the super-spreader event, Long County Commission Chairman Robert Parker, who’s known the couple his entire life,  sent a warning to potentially affected families, advising parents to keep their exposed little ones at home until 2021, with the exception of school activities and alike.

Parker stated, “While this event was not put on by the City of Ludowici or the Long County Board of Commissioners, it was well attended by our public officials and I believe I speak for the majority of them in saying that we still stand by the decision of the Chamber to move forward with these holiday traditions and to bring some sense of normalcy to these trying times.”
