A viral video has hit the internet showing a Sacramento, CA college professor firing off racist slurs against his neighbors, alongside his drunken wife, who shared her own racial comments.

In the video, the educator’s wife calls Cobb a “b*tch,” coupled with a middle finger, as her husband asserts, “I’ma a professor at Sac State, dude. I have a Ph.D. I don’t need to be dealing with sh*t like this,” and by video end, he tosses his drink at Cobb’s window. Since, Sac State president Robert Nelsen shared how he was “deeply offended by the language,” adding, “Racial epithets are repulsive and unacceptable. Personally, I am incredibly upset by the contents of the video and the harmful impact that it is having on our campus community.”

In a since-deleted post, Cobb shared that she and her boyfriend live above the Fords and they fight with each other every day. She wrote, “This is what I have to deal with while in quarantine! Racial slurs are being thrown around, I can’t even (be) at peace in my own home. Guys she was mad it smelled like bacon grease!? Like I can’t eat!”

The professor says his wife “recognizes the hurt and anger that she has caused and regrets it. Today, she is seeking help and has checked herself into a hospital for alcohol and drug abuse.”

Their attorney, Jonathan Stein, adds, “While we have had ongoing difficulties with one of our neighbors, there is no situation that warrants the use of racially charged words and we sincerely apologize for the behavior exhibited during this confrontation.”

The university has since opened an investigation into the professor and the property manager at the complex, Nina Watkins, claims, “We do not condone the behavior as witnessed in the video.”
