Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney met up for their face-off at the Empire State Building and things got out of hand. The two are gearing up for their highly anticipated fight on Saturday which will be held at the Barclays Center.

Haney released the footage to his Instagram which showed him and Garcia coming face to face and after exchanging a few words Haney seemingly lost his cool and shoved Garcia right in the face. Of course the footage quickly went viral on social media. “I told you I ate that,” Garcia said on the X app after the incident. “SCRUMPTIOUS I WANT MORE!”

Face-offs are common in the sport of boxing so some fans were on social media debating if the shove was staged to promote the fight, but according Haney’s dad it was very much real and this fight is personal for him and his camp. “He disrespected boxing,” Haney’s dad said after the face-off. “This ain’t no game! I’m sending my son to go kill him!”

In more shocking news, after everything was all said and done, Garcia spoke out on his X account and revealed that he will be taking legal action against Haney for pushing him without his “consent” because the altercation was a hate crime due to him being in the lgbtq+ community (Garcia has never come out as gay.)
