A crew member who was working on Alec Baldwin’s new film ‘Rust’ may lose an arm after they were reportedly bitten by a venomous spider on set.

The crew member was shutting down the production of the film amid the tragic death of Halyna Hutchins when a brown recluse spider bit him. He said he started experiencing symptoms which included sepsis within a few days and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to their JustGiving page, the unidentified man underwent multiple surgeries in order for doctors to save his arm from being amputated.

As reported by The Mirror, a spokesperson from the ‘Rust’ production said in a statement: “We do not comment on individual members of the cast and crew’s private matters.”
Additionally, it is unclear if the movie will ever be completed due to the numerous incidents that have taken place on set aside from the shooting and staffing issues.
“None of us expect this movie to be finished. Ever. We know this is the end of the road for Rust sadly.”
