A Russian teen had a similar case in 2020 where he pretended to be an assassin.

In 2020, 19-year-old Abdulaziz Abdulazizov killed a female detective while leaving her home near Moscow. Lt-Col Evgenia Shishkina,49, was shot in the neck and chest and died in her husband’s arms. police believed the suspect acted as if he had a role in his family video game.

Authorities also believe the case is an unusual documented example of an assassin hired through the dark web. A person reportedly ordered the contract killing using the alias Migel Morales. However, he was officially identified as Yaroslav Sumbaev, an owner of an illegal dark web narcotics store, as reported by the Daily Mail. The slain detective had been investigating him and reportedly planned to assassinate her.

Some teenagers in Russia have been involved in serious crimes such as murder, robbery, and drug trafficking. The reasons for their involvement in criminal activity are varied and complex, including factors such as poverty, social inequality, family dysfunction, and exposure to violence and crime.

The Russian government has recently implemented various measures to address juvenile delinquency and support rehabilitation and reintegration efforts for young offenders. This includes the creation of juvenile justice systems and specialized institutions for juvenile offenders, as well as efforts to improve access to education and social support services for at-risk youth.
