Rory Farrell Releases A Statement After “Joe Budden Podcast” Firing: “I’ll Get To That Messy Sh*t Soon”
In an episode of the Joe Budden podcast that appeared on multiple platforms Wednesday before being scrubbed, Budden let fans know where exactly he stands with his co-hosts Rory, Mal, and former “Everyday Struggles” co-host DJ Akademiks.

Budden explained that his relationship with Rory took a turn after Rory took issue with Budden still having contact with Akademiks. In one clip of the show, Budden says, “Rory feels like he has so many options here, somehow he still feels like he’s running the show [and] he still feels like he has choices and options, he feels like he’s entitled to more,” Budden said. “Rory, you are in breach of your contract. And from this point forward, you are fired and you are not welcome back.” He went on to say that he considers Rory a behind-the-scenes “liability” while he also encouraged both Rory and Mal to start their own show.
Deeper into his rant, Budden noted Rory and Mal’s “failings” to bring in deals for the podcast and criticized them for allegedly having their reps request to see receipts and documents related to the show. Rory has now released a statement and says he plans to dive into all that “messy sh*t” very soon:
“Mannn .. what an era .. thank you to everyone that listened, supported, told their friends about us, bought a subscription, ticket, or merch .. any value starts & ends with y’all .. I’ll get to that messy sh*t soon but in the meantime, I’m here to celebrate an amazing run!! Love, ” Rory said.

He went on to say,
