26-year-old Dylan Harrison, an officer of the Alamo Police Department, was exiting from the department building around 1 a.m. when he was fatally shot by 43-year-old Damien ‘Luke’ Anderson on Saturday. The rookie cop was the father of a six-month-old and husband.

Hours later, a statewide manhunt is conducted after officials called Anderson “armed and dangerous” and there were no further details on the shooting. Anderson was found less than one mile away from the scene on Sunday but investigators said a motive for the shooting has yet to be determined.
