Ronnie Ortiz-Magro From MTV’s Jersey Shore Takes Plea Deal In Domestic Violence Case Against Jen Harley
MTV’s ‘Jersey Shore‘ star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is skipping out on jail time after taking a plea deal in his domestic violence case against his child’s mother Jen Harley; who now has a 3-year protective order against him and vice versa.
After pleading “no contest” to one count of domestic battery and one count of resisting arrest, Ortiz-Magro will now serve 36 months of probation and a mandatory 30 days of community service in Nevada, where he resides.

In addition, the MTV star will have to fork over a lump sum of $20,000 as a donation to the Jewish Family Services of L.A., a battered women’s shelter; plus, he’ll need to complete a 52-week domestic violence program at a court-approved agency in Nevada.
Furthermore, the plea follows the couple’s saga of abuse, and most-recently stemming from Ortiz-Magro’s October 2019 kidnapping of their daughter and knife-wielding attack against Harley.

Upon striking Jen, holding a knife, Ortiz-Magro took their daughter and lock themselves inside an L.A. Airbnb. Once authorities arrived, he refused to leave the home; forcing them to break down the door, tase, and arrest him.
Additionally, during the altercation, Harley reportedly suffered bruises and scrapes.
