[UPDATE] Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Domestic Violence Arrest Followed Fight With Girlfriend, Who Had ‘Visible Marks On Her Body’
Earlier this week we reported that ‘Jersey Shore‘ star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has been arrested in Los Angeles for domestic violence. While details were scarce, it’s now learned that the reality star’s arrest followed a physical fight with his girlfriend Saffire Matos, who had “visible marks on her body” when police arrived.
Law enforcement sources say Ronnie’s girlfriend was the person who called police that night after getting into an argument that allegedly turned physical. After conducting their initial interviews with both parties and reviewing visible marks on Saffire, officials concluded that Ronnie was the aggressor and they arrested him.

Again, prior to this new information, details were scarce and Saffire took to her Instastory to downplay the situation, writing, “Ronnie and I are fine. There is a lot [of] misleading information floating around out there. With anybody who reached out with concern, I appreciate it with all my heart, but everything that’s being portrayed out there are not facts. I don’t think it’s fair that people are using false accusations to gain attention. Please leave Ron and I alone. You don’t know what someone is going through at the end of the day. Don’t believe everything you hear or read online I’d appreciate privacy please. Thanks for all your support.” As we reported at the time, Ronnie had his daugher, Ariana with him, leaving his brother to come grab her until her mother, Jenn Harley drove to LA from Vegas to rescue her.
