It was said that the rapper was taken into police custody on an assault warrant from 2021 during a traffic stop earlier this month.

St. Petersburg police explained that Wave, 23, went to his ex-girlfriend’s Osceola County home and angrily accused her of seeing other men. However, the woman told cops at the time that they were not a couple. He then allegedly attacked her in front of their two children, choking her until she couldn’t breathe. According to updated reports, the case is now being dropped. Sometimes misunderstandings can be misconstrued and it isn’t until all the evidence and witnesses are reviewed that the right decision is made by the States Attorney.”
