On Monday evening, RFK Jr. appeared on Fox News’s “Hannity” where he discussed his uncle’s death and said, “There’s millions of pages of documents — of, uh, CIA documents, of, uh, transcripts, of recorded conversations from, uh, the Cuban embassy in, in Mexico City, from — it’s hard to summarize the evidence.” He continued to explain to host Sean Hannity that there were “confessions” from people who were directly involved in the assassination and called it a “60-year coverup.”

According to the New York Post, he believed that the Warren Commission, which President Lyndon B. Johnson established to investigate JFK’s assassination, was involved in the cover-up and that alleged ex-CIA Director Allen Dulles, who was a member of the commission alongside his brother, former Secretary of State John Foster Dulles, was fired by JFK.

“He insinuated himself onto the Warren Commission and essentially ran the Warren Commission and kept this evidence from the Warren commissioners. Either way, when Congress, 10 years later, investigated the crime with much more evidence than the Warren Commission had at its disposal, Congress found that, yeah, it was a plot. It was a conspiracy. There were multiple people involved. And most of the people in that investigation believe that it was the CIA that was behind it — because the evidence was overwhelming to them.”

RFK Jr. was nine when his uncle was assassinated in 1963 and recalled when his father called CIA officials to ask if they were responsible for JFK’s death. His father, Robert F. Kennedy, also called for an investigation of those reportedly tied to the mafia and casino owners who had connections to CIA officials. Robert  Kennedy was killed at a Los Angeles hotel after his win in the 1968 California Democratic presidential primary.

Twitter users also reacted to RFK Jr.’s statement about his uncle’s assassination and conspired that the CIA is watching due to his comments.
