What happened to the second season of ‘Rob and Chyna’?

Jeff Jenkins, the show’s executive producer, testified in court Friday that several networks including BET, MTV, Lifetime, and VH1 were not interested in a second season of ‘Rob and Chyna.’ Additionally, Jenkins felt he wouldn’t be able to back up a second season due to the former couple’s complicated relationship. As reported by Page Six, Jenkin says: “I would not pick up this show. There was no more Rob and Chyna.” He made the testimony via Zoom from his home in San Pedro, California.

Jenkins noted that he approved of the first season because the former couple appeared to be very happy and called Blac Chyna “witty.”

“That was the first and the last time I saw the couple happy.”

Jenkins also revealed that the pair were at odds with each other during filming and weren’t speaking to each other at the time.

“She was furious with him… and he was furious with her. It was very negative. It was very difficult to shoot a show ‘Rob & Chyna In Love’ when they were not even talking to each other.”

He claims he made the suggestion for the former couple to attend couple’s counseling and individual therapy sessions but reportedly refused to do it. Jenkins also recalled when he was meeting up with Kris Jenner after Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna had a fight in December 2016. Chyna was not in attendance at the time.

How does it affect Blac Chyna’s suit against the Kardashians

The recent testimony could be seen as a rebuttal against Blac Chyna’s claims that the Kardashian’s influence led to the cancellation of her reality show. As previously reported, Blac Chyna the cancellation affected her ‘financially and emotionally.’

“I plan to refocus my attention on my trial against Kris Jenner and her daughters Kim, Khloe, and Kylie which starts in 13 days. When they got my #1 show killed back in January 2017, that not only hurt me financially and emotionally, that hurt my beautiful kids.

I’m taking them to court to stand up for my legal rights and to be an example to my kids that “what’s right is right, what’s wrong is wrong” and what they did was wrong.”

During Friday’s hearing, Kris Jenner was reportedly emotional when she recalled Blac Chyna allegedly pulling out a gun on Rob Kardashian. However, Chyna claims it was actually a joke on her end. She also said he never told her to stop as it was her way of trying to get some attention from him during their relationship. The gun was also unloaded and there were no bullets in the house.
