The wait for a new Rihanna tour is over — well, at least according to a new report. Per Hits Daily Double, Rih-Rih is heading back on the road to embark on a stadium tour that’s expected to kick off sometime next year. The “Work” singer, who announced last month that she’ll be headlining the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show in February, is also believed to be working on new music, implying that her highly-anticipated ninth studio album will also be seeing a release date in the new year.
Of course, Rihanna herself has not confirmed any claims pertaining to concerts for 2023, but considering how artists who perform at the Super Bowl usually always follow up with a nationwide or worldwide tour thanks to the enormous exposure the halftime show gives them, it would seem very likely that Rih-Rih will follow suit.

The publication further mentions that Taylor Swift, who is gearing up for the release of her next album “Midnights,” and Beyonce, who dropped “Renaissance” back in July (and whose visuals we are still waiting for) will also be heading back on the road, with an announcement to follow shortly.
If reports are true that the 34-year-old is looking to release new music that will tie in with her Super Bowl show and supposed tour, it would be the first album Rihanna has released since her critically-acclaimed eighth body of work, “Anti,” which was released back in early 2016.
The record spawned a wide number of hits, including “Work,” “Kiss It Better,” “Needed Me,” and “Love On The Brain.” The accompanied Anti World Tour proved to be just as successful, pulling in a reported $110 million from 75 shows during its three-leg run in Europe, Asia and North America.
And yet still no album announcement? @rihanna what is the game plan here

Fans have been anticipating for Rihanna to announce new music for as long as one can remember, given that this is also the longest hiatus the Bajan beauty has ever taken from her singing career. With that said, however, in recent years, Rihanna had turned her attention to other endeavours, such as the booming rise of her cosmetics brand, Fenty Beauty, followed by the success of her lingerie line Savage x Fenty, and skincare firm Fenty Skin.
Back in August, Forbes reported that the colossal earnings from Rihanna’s businesses have since earned her a $1.7 billion net worth, making her the youngest self-made billionaire woman in the U.S. The 2023 Super Bowl will take place on February 12 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
