#LoveToSeeIt: Fayette County Clinic was previously looking to receive donations to help the facility stay open and Rick Ross caught wind of what they needed and blessed them with over $30,000.
Channel 2 Action News was there to interview Ross when he presented the check to the company and the rapper said he was glad and could help and plans to do more moving forward. “A clinic like this means a lot to me. I lost my father at an early age and I felt like one of the reasons I lost him so early is because of his lack of healthcare,” Ross said.

According to the report, the clinic provides free care to people 18 and older in Fayette County and the facility almost had to shut down because it didn’t have enough funds. With the help of Ross the clinic will continue to allow people to see a doctor, receive preventative care, and get needed medications. “The patients that come to this clinic, all of them, their income level is 200% below the poverty level. The national poverty level,” Geneva Weaver, Executive Director of Fayette C.A.R.E said.
Weaver also took the time to thank Rick Ross. “Thank you very much for your donation of the $30,179.”
As we know Rick Ross is a very successful rapper from his champagne bottles (Bel Air) and he’s listed as a owner of Boss Wings Enterprises LLC in Mississippi, along with his mother Tommie Roberts, and sister Tawanda Roberts. He’s also behind about 30 wing stop locations across the world which he often raps about in his songs.
It’s no question Rick Ross has the dollars help the community out. We previously shared how the rapper was looking into buying Michael Rubin’s Philadelphia 76ers ownership stake.

Rubin previously stated on Instagram last year that he’s choosing his burgeoning business over his fandom but will continue rooting for the team, “screaming louder than I usually do” from his usual seat at the Wells Fargo Center.
The IG post appeared to have gotten the attention of Rick Ross, who showed interest in potentially buying a share in the team, writing, “I’ll buy his 10% lol.” While the “lol” could imply that the “Push It” rapper was joking, it’s not far-fetched to believe that Rozay could actually be serious about becoming a co-owner of the 76ers, considering he’s already a fixture courtside at the Miami Heat games and has invested millions in lucrative businesses over the years.
