‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ star Mia Thorton announced to her fans on Instagram that she has been diagnosed with cancer.

The latest cast member of the series announced on her official Instagram page that she has been diagnosed with cancer after attending several doctor appointments. Thorton,37, uploaded a selfie with the following caption reads: “Same time last week, Doc called at 7:31 am — Mia I’m so sorry but your test results came back and I need you to go to Johns Hopkins Cancer Center today. You can only imagine the overwhelming amount of emotion G and I endured trying to figure out why.”
