Restaurants Offer Toilet Paper With To-Go Orders
The coronavirus is pushing people to panic purchase and necessities like toilet paper are flying off the shelves, leaving some people empty-handed.
Well, communities are coming together and it looks like some restaurants around the country are offering rolls of toilet paper with all to-go orders.
A pizza place in Chicago is offering a roll with every meal! Beacon Tap General Manager Tommy Riemer spoke about the idea to give back,
“[We were] trying to figure out ideas, and one of our other general managers over at Cafe Touché said ‘Hey what about this?'” Riemer told WMAQ-TV. “I immediately made a phone call to Trimark [which supplies toilet paper to the Beacon Tap] … and ordered as much as I could so we could offer it to customers as a little comic relief.”

Guerrilla Tacos in Los Angeles, also came up with an “emergency taco kit” on Instagram, which also gives away toilet paper.
“The kit includes five pounds of roasted chicken, another five pounds of carne asada, a quart of red salsa, a quart of green salsa, tortillas, onions, cilantro, and rice and beans. It also includes 30 eggs and, most importantly, four rolls of toilet paper.”
Restaurants in Oregon, Florida and other parts of the country are also taking part, so if you can’t find any TP at the grocery story, it might be time to hit up your favorite food spot!
