The series of videos were uploaded on TikTok by a woman named Key who said she went to the Louisiana Bistreaux Seafood Kitchen in East Point on March 10. According to the Daily Mail, Key explained that she and 24 other people were invited to celebrate her sister, Quandresha Brinkley’s 30th birthday, and Brinkley made arrangements with staff about how the payment would be received. Reportedly, the manager told her that her party needed to have more cash than credit cards.
However, the staff at the restaurant refused to split their check and the manager who spoke with Brinkley said they would able to take drinks off of the bill only. Brinkley also stated that the older patrons in her party did not have cash app to transfer the funds and they had to walk to a nearby hotel to take money out of an ATM.

Her [Brinkley’s] friends brought other friends and they were the ones that ran. My sister paid money out of her pocket. She did make a reservation and she did talk about splitting the bill beforehand.’
Key said the police were called before the staff brought out the bill and the officers even encouraged her to post the videos on social media. However, a statement has yet to be released from the restaurant about the incident.
