Drink Champs: Remy Ma Talks About Her Great Relationship With Lil Kim After Fallout And Credits Other Female Rappers Like Foxy Brown, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, & Megan Thee Stallion For “Putting In Hard Work”
Remy Ma kept it all the way real during her new interview with @drinkchamps. The New York rapper was asked a ton of questions about her career and rap beefs, and she didn’t shy away from answering any of them.
In a new promo clip, Remy Ma briefly talks about her fallen out with fellow rapper Lil Kim. Remy explained that she honestly doesn’t know where things went wrong between them, but believes it might have been over an interview that she did. “I have no idea what triggered it. But not trying to be funny, I always f—ed with her, but I may have answered a question, and you know they ask stupid questions; and you really don’t think about how it’s going to really sound. I think something like that happened, and it just went left.”
Remy continued, “but when I came home [ after spending 7 years in prison], I went to Fab’s party, and we looked at each other and was like, ‘yo, this sh*t is stupid.’ We hugged each other, took a picture and exchanged numbers.” Remy went on to say that she wished things didn’t go bad between them back in the day because “sh*t would’ve been crazy.” The “Conceited” rapper said that she realized all the drama was just unnecessary rap sh*t: “the sh*t is f***ing dumb. At the end of the day, everybody knows who’s nice, everybody knows who put in work; I put in work, Foxy put in work, Kim, Nicki, Cardi, Megan, we all put in work.”
