A Minnesota male suspect has been arrested after he fatally shot a realtor as an act of retaliation after he shot her boyfriend an hour before.

According to CBS Minnesota, Minneapolis Police have arrested Cedric Lamont Berry,41, early Friday for the murder of Monique Baugh. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 1300 block of Russell Avenue North and found Baugh with multiple gunshot wounds and duct tape around her wrists. The mother of two was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. An hour before the shooting, officers also responded to a shooting near 48th and Avenue N and Humboldt Avenue N where they found Baugh’s boyfriend.

Prior to her death, Baugh scheduled a home showing for a potential client in Maple Grove. Investigators say the appointment was not set up through her realtor company and could have been manipulated by the suspect.
