According to US Weekly, Mary Cosby revealed she is a “Pentecostal First Lady” and has taken over her family business after marrying her late grandmother’s second husband, Robert Cosby Sr. Her biography reads that the couple has been “been married for 20 years and have one teenage son together. Small but mighty and always dressed to the nines, her unconventional past has made her guarded and she quickly finds herself on shaky ground with some of the ladies.”
This reveal has led to some fans of the franchise to wonder why she would marry and have a child with her “grandfather” just to gain the family’s inheritance. One fan wrote on Twitter, “now lookie here Mary Cosby…..you could’ve took that one to grave beloved.”

Another shocking secret surrounding the Cosby family was Mary’s grandmother, Rosemary aka “Mama” died of natural causes in 1997 although her daughter, Rosalinda Cazares, believed Robert has something to do with the Faith Temple Pentecostal Church co-founder’s death.
“Her heart was A-1 and she was in good health,”
She says Robert forged her mother’s signatures in order to gain properties, businesses, and houses worth millions of dollars as reported by Deseret News. Robert has denied the claims and said it was like “putting salt on a wound” after Rosemary’s body was exhumed for further investigation.
“We struggle to make it just like everybody else. She never knew any of the business, nor did she want to know.”
