Ray J formally claps back at Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner‘s defamation lawsuit and countersuing, alleging they lied about his and Kim’s infamous sex tape leak and received a $6 million payment after the duo and Kanye West falsely accused him of sexually assaulting Kim, revenge porn, extortion, and more.
Ray J Tells Chrisean Rock He’s Bringing A Federal RICO Against Kim Kardashian And Kris Jenner
As we previously shared, on September 26, Ray J, 44, claimed he was planning to bring RICO charges against Kim Kardashian, 45, and Kris Jenner, 70. During a Twitch livestream, the “One Wish” singer told rapper and internet personality Chrisean Rock and fans that he was ready to drop a federal RICO case on his ex and her mother.
Keeping in mind the explosive and viral history between all parties, the revelation took the internet by storm. Ray said, “The federal RICO, though, on KK and Kris? Wooo. The federal RICO I’m about to drop on Kris and Kim is about to be crazy.” While speaking with Chrisean Rock, Ray J continued:
“I’m talking about, I’m on the news every day. I’m gonna say a lot of sh*t. Anybody that is cool with Kim, they need to tell her now, the rain is coming. The feds is coming. There’s nothing I can do about it. It’s worse than Diddy. It’s worse than Diddy.”
Ray J Responds To Kim Kardashian And Kris Jenner’s Defamation Lawsuit ‘To Silence Him’
By October 1, the mother and daughter duo filed a defamation lawsuit against the “Melody” singer. Within 24 hours, Ray responded to the paperwork, claiming he “won’t be silenced.” During another Twitch livestream, Ray showed his viewers Kim and Kris’ defamation lawsuit and fired off:
“Like, what’s f***ed up is that this sh*t bothers me every day when I see my daughter and I see my son and I’m like, yo, I know they… I have one year left to make sure that they know who they dad really is. And so, I go through this, I crash out, and then after that, I shake it off, and then we get back into a good rhythm. And that’s what we’re about to do right now. Like, I ain’t gonna let this sh*t, like, totally turn us into something else. So, let’s just get back and let’s have fun with y’all see what y’all see. Y’all know what I’m going through. I don’t have no lawyers. I don’t have no motherf***ing, I don’t have…”
“I defamed you? How? How I defame you? You just paid me all this money. You didn’t mention that, huh? You didn’t mention that. But you also didn’t mention that you was supposed to tell Hulu to take that sh*t down, bro. These b*tches already paid me $5 million, bro. And they trying to make me a slave, bro. Ray J Countersues Kim Kardashian And Kris Jenner Over Defamation Lawsuit Regarding Infamous Sex Tape
Over a month after Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner’s defamation lawsuit, TMZ is now reporting that Ray J is formally firing back with a suit of his own. On November 13, the publication reported Ray’s complaint alleges all three of them were in cahoots about the infamous sex tape and its alleged “leak.” He alleges Kardashian wasn’t against it at all — a reiteration from his September 2022 Instagram Live.
In the new legal documents, filed by Ray’s attorney Howard King and obtained by TMZ, Ray alleges he and Kardashian consensually shot a sex tape in 2003 and that in 2006, they talked about releasing it. He alleges Kardashian urged her momager orchestrate the release and commercial exploitation.
Ray also alleges that the mother and daughter duo “spent two decades peddling the false story that the sex tape … was leaked against her will.” He claims the two are “furious” that he “no longer wants to play along with their tall tale.”
Meanwhile, the duo’s attorney, Alex Spiro, told TMZ:
“After realizing he is losing the case and losing his way, this disjointed rambling distraction is not intimidating anyone. Ray J will lose this frivolous case too.”
Ray J Mentions Kanye West In Kim Kardashian And Kris Jenner Countersuit, Plus Alleged $6 Million Settlement
Ray J also mentions Kanye West in his countersuit against Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner. He claims that on ‘The Kardashians‘ reality show, Jenner, Kardashian, and West falsely accused him of several things, including: 1) sexually assaulting the SKIMS creator while she was asleep; 2) releasing revenge porn; and 3) extorting them.
The R&B singer claims after initiating legal proceedings, Kardashian, Jenner, and their production company reached an agreement with him. The results included Kardashian allegedly agreeing to pay him a $6 million settlement. Ray also claims the agreement banned further mention or public reference of the sex tape on ‘The Kardashians‘ reality show.
However, Ray alleges that almost immediately after entering the settlement, the family breached the contract. He alleges Kardashian, Jenner, West, and Kendall Jenner all made statements in violation of the agreement. Subsequently, Ray J is seeking $1 million in damages under the breached settlement.
Ray J Addresses Kim Kardashian And Kris Jenner Defamation Lawsuit And RICO Claims Against Them
Mentioning Kardashian and Jenner’s defamation lawsuit, Ray claims there’s more to it. He alleges it’s not exactly about defamation, more so, “about publicity, power, and punishment.” He’s says the duo filed their baseless lawsuit “to weaponize the judicial system, shirk their contractual obligations, and sacrifice on the altar of fame.”
The singer also addresses his Kardashian-Jenner RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) comment from his September livestream — which sparked the defamation lawsuit. He claims he thought his microphone was off when he said, “The feds is coming to investigate because I can’t be the dirty guy no more.”
Additionally, in his docs, Ray says he saw similarities between charges under a RICO and Kardashian and Jenner’s alleged “conspiracy with Vivid to release and lie” about the sex tape. He also cites the duo’s alleged “conspiracy to trick him into signing the Agreement before broadcasting further content” about the sex tape.
Furthermore, Ray J recalls contemplating a lawsuit against Kardashian and Jenner under the civil RICO statute. He wondered if they could potentially face any RICO violations. He also referenced a jab at the Kardashians during his interview on TMZ’s Tubi documentary, ‘United States vs. Sean Combs‘. In it, he said, “If you told me the Kardashians was being charged for racketeering, I might believe it.”
