Raven Symone & Wife Miranda Maday Address Da Baby’s Comments About The LGBTQ Community

Raven Symone and wife Miranda Pearman-Maday decided to hop on Instagram Live to share their thoughts on DaBaby’s controversial comments he made at Rolling Loud.

As we previously reported, while performing at the festival in Miami, he asked every audience member to “put your cell phone light up”, apart from those who were HIV-positive or were gay men who had sex in car parks. Following a wave of backlash, the rapper apologized for his comments. He tweeted that his comments were “insensitive” adding he had “no intentions on offending anybody” before offering “my apologies”. “Anybody who done ever been [affected] by AIDS/HIV y’all got the right to be upset,” he added.

However, he has since gone on more rants trying to defend himself against all the backslash. His latest tweet read, “I was tryna be a rapper for like one more year God ready for me to be an ICON now. This what I asked for I proudly accept the challenge 🙋🏾‍♂️ lets get it.” Here’s what Raven and Miranda have to say about all of this:

As a result of his comments, the clothing company BoohooMan has decided to end their partnership. Organizers for the Parklife music festival also decided to drop him from the lineup.
