In a recent interview on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, Raven-Symoné revealed something wild about a past relationship.

“We were together for a really long time,” Raven said on August 5. “And he got another girl pregnant.” Raven and her ex-boyfriend were in a seven-year relationship before he stepped out and got another woman pregnant.

“The best part of it was he asked me to be the godmother of the kid,” she recalled. “He still talks about it all the time—dumba**.”

Talk about nerve! That’s not even just disrespectful—it’s delusional. But Raven, being the composed queen she is, didn’t let it turn ugly. In fact, she shocked everyone with her level of grace.

“We’re still in communication now,” she added. “He’s been through a lot. Nothing but love and respect for his family and all he’s been through.”

Miranda Maday Had Jokes—And Raven Delivered the Clapback

Raven’s current wife, Miranda Maday, didn’t let the story ride without tossing in some shade—playfully of course.

She joked about taking inspiration from Carrie Underwood’s savage anthem “Before He Cheats” and damaging the ex’s car. But Raven came through with the smoothest clapback:

“He didn’t have a car.”

Whew. The shade! That subtle read had folks online cracking up. But beyond the jokes, it’s clear that Raven has fully moved on, and her glow-up in love is inspiring.

Raven-Symoné and Miranda Maday: From Partnership to Power Moves

Raven is now thriving in her relationship with Miranda Maday. The two got married in 2020 and have since become a true power couple. Not just romantically, but professionally too.

“We respect each other, we’re besties first and foremost,” Raven told E! News in 2023. “We’re lovers, we’re business partners and we know that there is a common goal.”

Together, the duo co-host The Best Podcast Ever, a space where they bring their personalities to the mic and connect with fans on a deeper level.

But what really makes their union beautiful is the intentionality they’ve built into their relationship. Raven said they started off by discussing what they wanted their life to look like.

“At the beginning of our relationship we had a conversation about what our life is going to look like,” she explained. “So our relationship is creating, being partners in business, and then at nighttime we Netflix it up with each other and we have our weekends where we do staycations and things of that nature.”
