Kim Kardashian West’s guest appearance proved to be a success for Saturday Night Live after the show had a disappointing season opener due to low ratings.

The Nielsen TV rating scale said Kim Kardashian’s hosting gig earned a 3.5 household rating in comparison to the season 47 opener with Owen Wilson which had a rating of 1.3 in the 18-49 demographic as reported by the Daily Mail.

Kardashian even poked fun at the show’s low ratings during her opening monologue. ‘I’m so used to having 360 million followers watching my every move, and how many people watch SNL? Like 10 million? Tonight is just a chill, intimate night for me,” she exclaimed.

Fans also reacted to Kardashian’s appearance on ‘SNL’ and enjoyed the opening monologue where she discussed her husband, her family, and her status as one of the original influencers on social media.

Her skits included a Bachelorette parody which included celebrities appearances of John Cena, Chris Rock, Chance Crawford, Jesse Williams, Blake Griffin, and Tyler Cameron. Another skit involved Kim doing a parody of her sister Kourtney called “The People’s Kourt” which included her sister Khloe. The segment also commented on Kourtney’s relationship with Travis Barker.
