Rapper Slim Thug Receives Promotion To Drive-Thru Manager At Checkers
A year and a half ago rapper Slim Thug began working at a local Checkers location in the Northside of Houston (Post Oak). Although we all know how much of a leader he is, this was surprisingly his first corporate job aside from rapping.
According to Houstonstyle’s Twitter account, over the weekend, he was promoted to Drive-Thru Manager at the current Northside location. To celebrate, along with comedian Chinedu, Slim Thug gave customers discounted prices on menu items, allowing fans to try the chicken tenders and startled a few guests in the drive-thru with free meals.

“I absolutely love Checkers & Rally’s,” said Slim Thug. “I grew up going there all the time with my family, and I’m excited to spread the word about the brand’s great food and service.”
The 41-year-old rapper is still maintaining his music career as well. He returned at the top of 2022 with his new album titled BIGslim project. Slim Thug also released a visual to project standout “Drifting” last week.
