He tweeted, “Officially announcing my retirement with the release of No Pressure executive produced by No I.D. It’s been a great decade.”

The rapper only began putting out music in 2009 following several mixtapes, he eventually released his first studio album in 2014. Since then he’s put out at least one album or mixtape per year and has collaborated with artists like Eminem, Wiz Khalifa Childish Gambino, and more. It was said that the new album will serve as a sequel to his 2014 debut Under Pressure. While Logic didn’t share what he’ll be doing following retirement, he did end his tweet off by saying, “Now it’s time to be a great father.”

As we previously reported, Logic, whose real name is Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, announced last August that he was expecting a son. He revealed the news on the track “No Pressure,” in which he sings about his negative feelings towards the music industry.

“And I’m having a little baby!” he raps at the end of the song. “Surprise! It’s a little baby boy, f— TMZ, they can’t get the scoop on that s—!” The musician later confirmed that he was married to Brittney Noell, Complex reported last September.
