According to a report by TMZ, TJay was attending the WBO lightweight championship fight between Keyshawn Davis and Denys Berinchyk on Friday when things got heated. Witnesses say TJay and his entourage were trying to push their way into the VIP section without clearance, which led to a confrontation with security.
When security told him he wasn’t allowed in, things turned physical. That’s when the rapper, seemingly frustrated, resorted to spitting—an act that has people across social media both disgusted and debating whether MSG’s reaction was justified.
Madison Square Garden Speaks Out
Madison Square Garden wasted no time in responding to the incident. In a statement to TMZ, the venue made it clear that behavior like this won’t be tolerated:
“Our policy is that patrons that engage in confrontational and disruptive behavior will be escorted out and banned from all MSG properties.”
