Rapper Lexii Alijai’s cause of death has been revealed, weeks after her tragic passing.
According to PEOPLE, the young artist passer after consuming a fatal concoction of drugs and alcohol,
“This individual died due to mixed fentanyl and ethanol toxicity,” the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed.
Her death has been ruled as accidental. As we reported, Alijai died on Jan. 1 at the age of 21. She was discovered unresponsive at the Loews Minneapolis Hotel in Minnesota.
The late star was close friends with singer-songwriter Kehlani. She collaborated on her singles “Jealous” and “You Should Be Here,” which was nominated for a Grammy.
Upon learning of her passing, Kehlani shared a heartbreaking tribute post to her good friend. She wrote, “I’m angry I’m confused I’m heartbroken I’m angry I’m confused,” Kehlani tweeted. “I love you lexii. my baby was 21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
