Rae Sremmurd’s Brother Michael Arrested For Stepdad’s Murder

Yesterday we reported that Rae Sremmurd’s step-father had been shot dead in Mississippi, and police believed that their younger brother was a person of interest.

According to TMZ, Michael Sullivan was initially taken to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation. As of today, officers transported him from the hospital and he was arrested for the murder of is father Floyd Sullivan.

Following news of the death, Swae Lee tweeted, “I pray this world let’s me maintain some compassion.”

Tupelo police state that officers responded to a call on Monday night to a home where they discovered a man who had died from multiple gunshot wounds.

The coroner identified the victim as 62-year-old Floyd Sullivan. He had raised the boys since they went to middle school, before moving to Mississippi with their mother, Bernadette.

It is not clear what led up to the events or the motive for the killing.
