Buffalo-based radio host, Rob Lederman, made disturbing comments during the “Morning Bull Show” after discussing how he liked his bread toasted and compared it to his attraction to women. He says he wouldn’t be attracted to a woman like Serena Williams and would be more comfortable with a “Halle Berry” level woman. His co-host also asked him would he see Gayle King in his league but he said “No, Gayle King is not even on my toaster level.”

Owners of 97 Rock said in a statement that Lederman’s comments do not reflect their principles and were fired immediately amid the broadcast. The station also lost advertisements from Roswell Park and the Rosewell Park Alliance Foundation.

“Cumulus Media operates from a clearly-defined set of programming principles and there is no question that Rob Lederman’s comments made on The Morning Bull Show are in direct violation of those principles,”

Lederman’s co-host, Rich Gaenzler, lost his job as an in-arena host for the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bandits Lacrosse team. Additionally, he lost another position as the public address announcer for football games at the University of Buffalo as reported by the New York Post.
