Racist Woman Hits Teen With Her Car Because ‘She Was Mexican’

An Iowa woman was arrested after she tracked down a 14-year-old girl and ran her down in her vehicle because she was ‘a Mexican’

According to the Des Moines Register, Nicole Marie Poole Franklin confessed to police that she stalked a 14-year-old girl who was walking home from Indian Hills Junior High School and ran her over with her 1998 Jeep Cherokee around 5 p.m. Franklin added she targeted the girl because she was ‘a Mexican.’ Clive Chief of Police Michael Venema said in a statement that Franklin used offensive language about Latinos during questioning.

Prior to her arrest, Franklin was throwing items at a Conoco gas station employee and called several customers a racial slur.

“Franklin told investigators that she ran the girl over because she was, in her words, ‘a Mexican’. “She went on to make a number of derogatory statements about Latinos to the investigators.”

Miraculously, the teen has survived the incident but suffered from numerous injuries. She spent a few days in the hospital before returning to her school. As for Franklin, she was charged with operating under the influence, theft and public intoxication. She is currently being held at Polk County Jail.
