R. Kelly Reportedly Made $1.2M In 2019 & Hid Funds In Secret Bank Account
Just one day after we reported that three associates of R. Kelly were arrested for threatening and bribing alleged victims, the imprisoned singer is now being accused of making $1.2 million in 2019 and hiding the funds in a secret bank account.
Per Bossip, federal prosecutors discovered that the ousted legend, who’s facing two federal criminal cases for sexual abuse of minors, kidnapping and racketeering, pulled in $1.2 million last year and stashed it in a secret bank account, so to avoid paying fines or restitution if he’s found guilty.

The reveal arrived after Kelly’s lawyers accused the feds of going on a “fishing expedition” by subpoenaing his bank records. Subsequently, U.S. Attorney John Lausch discovered Kelly opened a secret account under a shell company, SomeBrotherLuv LLC., which appeared to be used as a repository for the singer’s royalties. Lausch also accused Kelly’s team of paying off witnesses and alleged victim’s on their client’s behalf.
