R. Kelly has cut off his Chicago-based legal team so he can order hire the attorney who appealed Bill Cosby’s conviction.

“That’s correct, your honor,” Kelly replied after U.S. District Judge Harry Leinenweber asked if he was cutting ties with his initial Chicago-based attorneys, Steve Greenberg and Michael Leonard.

Now it might not be a shocker that Bill Cosby’s attorney will represent him. As we previously reported, Bill Cosby even reportedly said that he felt R Kelly got railroaded in his sex crimes trial.

According to TMZ, Cosby’s spokesman, Andrew Wyatt explained that him and Bill had a conversation about it and Bill said, “The guy was railroaded.”

Cosby isn’t to fond of Gloria because she represented some of the alleged victims in his case and R. Kelly and Andrew seem to believe that she is running plays out of a familiar playbook.
