R. Kelly Asks Judge To Give Access To Chicago Studio

R. Kelly wants to get access to his Chicago studio and he has asked a judge to make that happen.

On Thursday, the singer filed paperwork as part of his building code violations case asking a judge to give him access to his studio during the night. According to the docs obtained by TMZ, Kelly wants access to his space between the hours of 8 PM to 7 AM.

During those hours he claims he wants to make great music and nothing else. He also lists this schedule as his employees’ normal working hours. As we reported, R. Kelly had been evicted from his studio after investigators found proof of code violations and plenty of evidence that someone may have been living there.

Kelly’s eviction came after the Lifetime docu-series “Surviving R. Kelly,” which details his alleged sex abuse from multiple women aired. It was said that’s where he held his sex cult victims hostage. Kelly has since decided all these claims including the others that were shared in the documentary.

According to TMZ, a judge will make the decided whether or not R. Kelly could get get access to his studio on Friday.
