Queen Elizabeth is currently appointing a diversity tsar after Meghan Markle accused the Royal Family of racism in her exclusive interview with Oprah.

According to Page Six, members of Buckingham Palace will attend “listen and learn” exercises on how they can diversify their efforts in supporting minorities and the LBGTQ communities. A palace insider said the Royal Family is taking the accusations very seriously after Markle’s interview and said there needs to more work to be done within the monarchy.
“We have the policies, procedures, and programs in place but we haven’t seen the progress we would like and accept more needs to be done. We can always improve. We are not afraid to look at new ways of approaching it. The work to do this has been underway for some time now and comes with the full support of the family.”

The Queen said in a statement that the accusations made by Markle and Prince Harry were very concerning and she would be addressing it within members.
“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately,”
