Twitter did not take too kindly to Queen Elizabeth II wishing her son Prince Andrew a happy birthday from the Royal Family’s official account.

The account tweeted photos of Prince Andrew from his youth and said, “#OnThisDay in 1960 The Queen was safely delivered of a son, the first child born to a reigning Monarch since 1857.” However, users were not pleased with the tweet due to Prince Andrew’s connection with Jeffrey Epstein and he was forced to retire from royal duties last year.

One user wrote that the world didn’t need to be reminded of Prince Andrew’s birthday since he was no longer working with the Royal Family. Do we really need to be reminded about Prince Andrew? He is no longer a working royal so let him stay out of sight and mind.” the tweet said.
