Quavo is scheduled to make an appearance at a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday evening in Atlanta, according to an exclusive report by @cnn. 

According to the report, the rapper is anticipated to address the topic of gun violence during the rally, as indicated by two insiders. According to a source knowledgeable of his speech, the rapper plans to publicly endorse Harris for president and emphasize the significance of the Georgia vote in motivating attendees of the rally to register to vote.

Quavo has a personal connection to the issue of gun violence, having tragically lost his nephew and fellow Migos member, Takeoff, in a fatal shooting incident outside a Houston bowling alley in 2022. Following the loss of his nephew, Quavo established the Rocket Foundation in 2022 to commemorate the memory and impact of Takeoff. The foundation is dedicated to advancing initiatives in gun violence prevention and criminal violence intervention.

Quavo holds a significant presence in the Atlanta rap scene, having been born and raised in the region. According to a source with knowledge of Quavo, the rapper is enthusiastic about Vice President Harris’ inaugural presidential rally in Georgia, as it marks her first such event in his hometown. Over the past year, Quavo and Harris have cultivated a genuine connection, collaborating closely to advocate for gun violence prevention.

Harris and Quavo previously engaged in a discussion about gun violence at the Rocket Foundation Summit in Atlanta, coinciding with what would have been Takeoff’s 30th birthday.

Furthermore, in September of the previous year, Quavo, accompanied by his mother and Takeoff’s mother, visited Harris at the White House to address the issue of gun violence, meeting with members of the Congressional Black Caucus as well. Following Quavo’s visit to Washington D.C., President Joe Biden established the inaugural White House office of gun violence prevention, with oversight from Harris.

Joining the lineup for the Harris rally on Tuesday is rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Megan Thee Stallion took to Instagram, where she boasts a following of 32 million, to share a flyer announcing her participation in the event. “ATL HOTTIES SEE YOU TOMORROW,” she posted.
