Quarantine & Chill This Fall With ‘Antebellum.’

Whew, fall is here and we are ready to get into some thrillers to take us into quarantine!

If you couldn’t get enough of ‘Us,’ and ‘Get Out,” then you’ll love what the hit-producers just dropped with the Janelle Monáe-led psychological thriller ‘Antebellum.’

Lionsgate’s ‘Antebellum’ follows successful author Veronica Henley who is kidnapped by racists who have been stalking her every move. She is then trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery to escape. It turns out she’s at a Louisiana Civil War reenactment park called Antebellum, where white people kidnap prominent black people and turn them into slaves.

Every moment within the movie contains a hidden message and leaves you wondering whether the past is really the past.

Without giving away too many spoilers, Mondale does it again with her striking performance and you just might have to watch it twice to really grasp the message.
