Jacob Chansley aka Jake Angeli aka the “QAnon Shaman” wants to testify at Trump’s impeachment trial as per his lawyer Albert Watkins. Watkins says his client wants to prove to senators that Donald Trump convinced him and others to incite the insurrection at the Capitol building. Chansley also feels that Trump has let his supporters down after he didn’t pardon them for their violent actions during the riots and called it an act of “betrayal.”
However, Watkins hasn’t met with any senators to confirm if Chansley will be able to testify during the Feb.8 trial.

The shaman is currently facing charges of civic disorder, obstruction of an official proceeding, disorderly conduct in a restricted building, and other offenses. As reported by Baller Alert, his arraignment was scheduled for Friday at a Washington D.C. court. He also made headlines recently after complaining that the jail he was booked in did not provide any organic food, leading Chansley to reject their food for almost a week.
