The lawsuit was filed on Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court and Antin claims Scherzinger reportedly signed off on a new business venture involving the reunion of the group and agreed on 49 percent of the deal. Scherzinger allegedly signed a short-form agreement called a Memorandum of Understanding. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the original dates for the reunion tour were canceled and Scherzinger refused to participate in the tour, the suit claims.

“SCHERZINGER has made other attempts to profit off of the goodwill of the PCD brand while threatening to withhold her performance on the reunion tour, for instance by requesting access from ANTIN to her PCD signature wardrobe for use in her personal appearance on FOX show The Masked Singer. 24. Despite this affirmation of her participation, SCHERZINGER now refuses to participate in the reunion tour. In 2021, SCHERZINGER demanded to renegotiate the terms of the MOU.”

Additionally, it claims that Scherzinger wants a 75 percent stake and wants final decision-making authority but won’t participate unless those demands are met.
