Pusha T Opens Up On Kanye West: “He Knows I Don’t Think He’s A Man”
Pusha T is finally speaking on the tension between him and Kanye West—and he’s not holding back. In a raw new interview with GQ, Push gave fans the real reason behind their falling out. He said straight up, there’s no fake love here—because Ye knows how he truly feels.
“We made some great sh*t, bro,” Pusha T shared. “We did… He’s a genius. And his intuition is even more genius level, right? But that’s why me and him don’t get along, because he sees through my fakeness with him. He knows I don’t think he’s a man. He knows it.”
That statement hit hard. Pusha made it known that the love might’ve been there musically, but on a personal level, the respect just ain’t mutual.
“He’s showed me the weakest sides of him, and he knows how I think of weak people,” he added.
Kanye West Says He’s Done With Antisemitism: “God Forgive Me For The Pain That I’ve Caused”
If you’ve been keeping up with their back and forth, this isn’t the first time their strained dynamic made headlines. In fact, this bombshell interview comes just days after Kanye West tweeted, “I miss me and Pusha’s friendship,” which had fans wondering if a reconciliation was on the table.
Pusha T Calls Out Kanye’s Antics: “He Screams Behind A Mask Like A Pro Wrestler”
In the same GQ interview, Pusha didn’t shy away from addressing Ye’s unpredictable online behavior. His frustrations were loud and clear.
“It’s like, bro, you’ve been mentioning me, screaming about me… you got every soul believing that I’ve done such a great injustice to you. And that’s a lie,” Pusha said.
He continued, “The one thing that I can say about him is that he knows that every issue that he’s having and crying about online right now, I’ve told him distinctly about those things, distinctly. So when he gets up there and with his KKK mask and he’s screaming behind it like a pro wrestler—he gotta scream behind a mask. He don’t talk to me like he talks to others.”
That right there shows just how far the rift has grown. Push made it clear—he’s been honest, while Kanye’s been acting. No sugarcoating.
Kanye West Responds After Clipse Drops New Track
Shortly before the GQ story dropped, Kanye made an emotional move on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “I miss me and Pusha’s friendship.” The post came on the heels of Clipse’s surprise new single, “Ace Trumpets.”
While Ye is reminiscing, Pusha T seems more focused on the future. And that future includes the highly anticipated Clipse reunion album, Let God Sort Em Out, dropping July 11. This will be their first full project in 15 years—and fans are hype!
It’s no secret that Ye once played a major role in Pusha’s solo success under G.O.O.D. Music. But as time moves on, it seems like the brotherhood just couldn’t survive the chaos, ego clashes, and creative differences.
