Proud Boys Allegedly Threaten To Shut Down Colin Kaepernick & Ava DuVernay’s Netflix Series
Extra security measures are being taken as the Proud Boys have allegedly threatened to shut down Colin Kaepernick and Ava DuVernay‘s Netflix series, ‘Colin in Black and White.’ The 6-part series, likely due this year, will chronicle Kaep’s high school years and the racism he faced. It will also include events that inspired his social activism.
Per TMZ, executives on the project fired off an email to cast and crew notifying them about the extra steps in security being taken to protect everyone at all costs. The details of the measures haven’t been made public, however the publication says “the honchos are clearly taking it seriously.”

Sources say that the anti-Black Lives Matter group was planning a protest last Friday (Feb. 12) at the location shoot. Although the rally did not come to fruition, it caused serious worry among the cast and crew. It’s confirmed that a memo was sent ahead notifying production that an “anti-BLM sentiments may protest against the production.” Two other sources from production say there was also an ominous phone call made last week to their office.
