Progress! Tommie Lee Celebrates Staying Out Of Jail/ Drama For Two Years Straight!
One of many things we love to see is progress! “Love & Hip-Hop” star Tommie Lee celebrated her new and improved life as she marked two years since being out of jail or in drama!
The reality star posted a video to her Instagram story late Sunday night to give fans an update on her journey. She explained that she has been in-and-out of the slammer since she was 14-years-old but for the last two years she hasn’t been in any drama or trouble!
Her last arrest was in 2019 when she was indicted on multiple child abuse charges. Tommie Lee was accused of going to her young daughter’s middle school and beating her daughter on the hands with her purse strap. She also allegedly slapped her across the face, dragged her down the hall by her hair, and threw her into a metal locker, TMZ reported. Around that time she had been in and out of jail (and back again) repeatedly over the past couple of years — all while appearing on “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta,” TMZ notes.
Since her return, she’s been trying her best to focus on improving her life and building a better relationship with her family. She previously also promised to do better, and it looks like she’s finally sticking to her word.
