Prison Holding El Chapo Deemed Safest Place Amidst Coronavirus

Some of the most notorious criminals in the world seem to be the safest from the deadly Coronavirus.

As of now,  ADX Supermax prison in Florence, Colorado has no reported cases of the Coronavirus. This could be down to the extremely high-security measures that are in place to keep those grisly criminals away.

ADX is home to El Chapo, Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, Oklahoma City Bomber Terry Nichols, Olympic Park Bomber Eric Rudolph, 9/11 plotter Zacarias Moussaoui, and the Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

According to TMZ, a representative for the Federal Bureau of Prisons says that the prisoners live in single cells and have limited recreational time outside of their cells. They are only allowed to leave their cells 7 times a week and for short periods of time. Each prisoner is also escorted by three guards, who have undergone Coronavirus testing.

Throughout the country prisons and jails have become the dangerous hot spots for coronavirus due to confinement and conditions exacerbating the spread. This has caused uproar and prison riots throughout the country.
