Prince William Was Secretly Infected With Coronavirus In April

Prince William is reported to have tested positive for the Coronavirus back in April, but he kept it a secret from the public.

William reportedly said, “There were important things going on and I didn’t want to worry anyone.” He was noted to be the most hardworking royal at the time and continued on with his responsibilities remotely.

The Sun reported that the 38-year-old got the virus shortly after his father, Prince Charles, tested positive.

A source close to the royal revealed that,

“William was hit pretty hard by the virus – it really knocked him for six. At one stage he was struggling to breathe, so obviously everyone around him was pretty panicked.“

“After seeing medics and testing positive – which was obviously quite a shock given how fit and healthy he is – William was determined it should be business as usual though. He was determined to fulfill his engagements.”

William was treated by palace doctors and followed government rules by quarantining at the family home of Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.

The prince did not go to the hospital and luckily his wife, Kate Middleton, and their children, Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, did not get the virus.
