Prince William Condemns Racist Abuse Of England’s Black Soccer Players Following Euro 2020 Loss
Prince William is speaking out against “racist abuse” being hurled at black English soccer players following England’s loss to Italy in the Euro 2020 game on Sunday
“I am sickened by the racist abuse aimed at England players after last night’s match,” he said on Twitter. “It is totally unacceptable that players have to endure this abhorrent behaviour. It YT must stop now and all those involved should be held accountable.”

The horrific racial abuse came after three players missed penalties which resulted in a win for Italy. Following the results the players received abuse online and graffiti was plastered all over the country.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also condemned the abuse,
“This England team deserve to be lauded as heroes, not racially abused on social media. Those responsible for this appalling abuse should be ashamed of themselves.”
