In a statement released by their press secretary, Meghan Markle gave birth in California on Friday to a beautiful baby girl. “The Duchess of Sussex gave birth to a 7lb 11oz daughter, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, on Friday in California and both mother and child are healthy and well,” she said to the Mirror UK.
During their interview with Oprah, Prince Harry said it was “Amazing” after learning that they were expecting a baby girl. The couple also noted that they are not planning to have any more children after their daughter’s birth.
